Plus-size consignment shops in SoCal?

Hi, all,

I have 5-6 garbage bags full of clothes I can't wear anymore after losing 55 lbs, and I need some new clothes but don't want to spend for "new" stuff because I'm losing so fast.

EDIT: I just saw that there is a SoCal coffee meeting scheduled -- will try to get there, but I don't want to schlep a ton of clothes to the first one I attend (IF I can make it there).

So does anyone know of a plus-size consignment shop in Orange/LA/San Diego/Riverside counties where I could consign some of my current stuff (a lot of which still has tags on it or is very lightly worn) and buy "new"?

Thanks in advance,

Sorry I sure don't know of any.  I just gave my first batch to a girl that I saw at one of our outings from OH.  Thirteen bags worth of the same stuff you have.  I think she got some good use of them.  Hope you can find somewhere to take it....try doing a web search maybe you can find something that way.

Let me make a suggestion to you.  Go ahead and load up the clothes in your trunk.  Just don't take them out right away.  Meet and greet everybody and then when you feel a bit more comfortable a while into your visit, then get them out.  That way you can also partake in what is there.  I have not been to theit shindig, but I hear the clothes are fabuloso.  It would be a shame to go there and not be able to bring home some cool stuff.

Congrats on the loss thus far!  Keep up the good work!!
